Hey, I’m Beau — short for Beaudelaine. I’m a proud Haitian-American, born and raised in South Florida, and a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s in Construction Management. Most people know me as “Beau the Builder,” and while I started out building structures, God’s been teaching me how to build something far greater — people, purpose, and community.
For a long time, I struggled to understand my own purpose. I knew I had gifts — I’ve always been a problem solver, a connector, and someone who could take what’s around me and make something out of it. I’ve always been what I now call a resource broker — someone who brings people, opportunities, and ideas together to make impact happen. But for years, I didn’t fully realize that those abilities were part of my purpose.
I always knew how to have a good time with friends. Whenever I threw a party or an event, it just had this energy — people laughed, connected, and had fun. It was like an experience every time. And honestly, I felt fulfilled afterward, like I just got five stars on a customer service call. I didn’t know it back then, but that joy in bringing people together was part of something bigger God was doing in me.
My journey reminds me of the parable in Matthew 25:14–30 — the one about the talents. For a long time, I was the one who buried my gift, afraid of getting it wrong. But God showed me that what He gave me wasn’t meant to stay hidden. It was meant to multiply — to help others uncover and use their gifts, too.
Through community, mentorship, and faith, I began to see that purpose isn’t found overnight — it’s built through relationship, action, and obedience. That’s what led to the creation of The J-Block Experience — a space where believers and non-believers can come together to discover and execute their unique purpose through community, experiences, and shared resources.
I’ll be honest — purpose almost killed me. The pressure, the confusion, the feeling of not being enough. But God turned all of that pain into direction. Now, I’m still learning, still building, still figuring it out — and I want others to know they don’t have to walk that journey alone.
So if you’re here wondering where to begin, start where you are. Use what you have. Don’t give up. What’s the worst that can happen? Hit rock bottom? That just means it’s only up from here.
Welcome to The J-Block Experience — let’s build together.
